Celery in olive oil

It is a typical healthy life meal and we eat often in Izmir where I came from.

We eat not just for a healthy life style but also we eat lighter because of the weather conditions. It is usually very hot and even in winter time very warm that we don't really prefer to eat so heavy meals. We also eat also a lot of other vegetables. Mainly we prefer to cook them with olive oil, I will continue to try and share other recipes as well.


Ingredients

- 1 celery (I used only head part, if you have celery stalk as well, do not hesitate to add)

- 3 small potatoes

- 1 mid-size carrot

- 1 mid-size onion

- 1 WG of olive oil

- 1 lemon

- 1 stem of fresh dill


*WG Water glass


Preparation

Start by adding olive oil and chopped onions in a pot, cook the onions until they start to change their colour.

After onions you can add your chopped carrot, potatoes and lastly the celery.

Squeeze the lemon and add the juice in your pot with chopped fresh dills.

As a final step you can add your water and if you prefer, orange juice as well in your pot and cook with a low heat until your ingredients are softer (around 20-25 min.)
